Why I Care So Deeply About Women

People often ask me why I care so deeply about women.

The answer is simple.

God surrounded me with them.

​

was raised primarily by women. My mother worked tirelessly as a single mom, my grandmother became one of my greatest influences, I grew up with one sister, and later God blessed my wife and me with two daughters.

​

Long before I became a pastor, chaplain, mentor, or author, I was learning from women—listening to their stories, observing their strength, and seeking to understand their hearts.

Over the years, God has given me the privilege of serving individuals, couples, and families through ministry, counseling, mentoring, and community leadership. I've also been honored to support women through initiatives like Queens of the Mic, WOG (Women of God), Dear Woman, and my involvement with Moms Demand Action.

I didn't write this book to criticize women.

I wrote it because I love women.

I believe women deserve honesty, clarity, healing, peace, and relationships built on truth instead of confusion.

When I'm not writing, speaking, or serving my community, you'll usually find me spending time with my wife. Together, we enjoy traveling, date nights, good food, and making memories. Those moments remind me that healthy relationships aren't just something we teach—they're something we intentionally live.
